It is always a pleasure to greet a friend from afar . In the past, foreigners had no access to use mobile payment in China without a Chinese bank account and a local mobile phone number. Fortunately, Alipay made their best effort to remove this hurdle and allow foreigners use mobile payment in mainland China since Nov.5, 2019.  In virtue of the program called Tour Pass, Alipay launched its international version and allowed foreigners to download its smartphone application and register using their international phone numbers. Foreigners enable to buy a 90-day prepaid card within the app using their international debit and credit cards and use it to pay for their transactions in mainland China later. And  that 90-day prepaid card will expire after 90 days and automatically refund the remaining money. The move marks that foreign visitors have access to freely use mobile payments in mainland China for the first time. And it is also a new greeting way for Alipay
